Growing up on a sheep station and going to boarding school were set to be the two least abnormal things Lindsay would go on to do. However it was a diverse starting point. From school at the end of year ten Lindsay went to Agricultural College in Goulburn NSW. After that went working in shearing sheds and on the family farm for almost two years until the call of the wild nightlife got him.
Spending the next 5 years filled with hospitality jobs, bartending, running restaurants, consulting to bar owners and even cooking. Until in 1994 Acting and comedy beckoned, starting stand up at Crazies Comedy Restaurant, The Sit Down Comedy Club and working for IZIT! Entertainment as a fulltime street Performer, doing public and private functions all over Australia and shooting the odd TV commercial and several short films. Street theater died out in 2000 when Lindsay started dabbling in radio, going full time in January 2001 at Sea FM 91.9 Sunshine Coast. Completing his time at Sea FM in February 2005. Lindsay is now working the stand up stage exclusively locally and abroad. Lindsay had a great success with his first one hour festival show “Foolosophy” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2006. He returned in 2007 with a brand new show “Lad to Dad”.
